How Does it Work?
The Basic Mechanism
Earn as you GO! is really simple. You work out your monthly cellphone spend, then complete an application form online, or print it and fax it to us. We enrol you and send you a confirmation by SMS.
Each month we debit your bank account with your monthly airtime budget and credit your account with us. Then at any time you can SMS us for an airtime voucher and a recharge voucher is sent to your cellphone for you to recharge. It's as easy as that.
If you don't use all your budget in a month we only debit your bank account with the amount needed to top up your account to your monthly budget level. And if you don't use any airtime we don't debit you.
This makes it really easy for parents or employers to set a budget for kids or employees and to make sure that they always have cellphone airtime available.

How do I SMS for a recharge?
You send an SMS to purchase a voucher like this: C25 (that's a Cell C R 25 voucher). EAYG will respond like this: Thank you, your voucher number is 2714, your GT Account balance is R 45.00 & your commission balance is R 16.92. GreenTree
What if I need more airtime during the month?
You can SMS us at any time to 'top up' your account. We will process an interim debit order to your bank. Simply SMS the world DEBIT and a number like 50 or 100 and the system will pick this up and add it into the next debit order run to process. It could still take 3-5 days before you can access that money in your EAYG account. We encourage members to rather increase the monthly debit value to make sure that there's always a balance available. Unused balances are carried over to the next month and the debit from your bank account in the next month will be only the amount required to top up to your debit order limit.
What if I have nothing in my EAYG account?
We'll organise an Emeregency voucher for you - simply send EAYG a "please call me" to the 079... number and the system will send back a voucher for a small value (R 5.00) for your usual network. You can load the voucher and then 'top up' your accountv as above.
